After a long two days, I’ve finally migrated to Wordpress. In the end, it was very user-friendly–after, of course, I messed with templates and hosting and MySQL tables. I’ll continue to change things around (and my wife will make the site pretty), but I’m much happier with this setup. By switching to Wordpress, I’m saving over $100 per year, and I’m gaining functionality. More on that later

I’ve decided to move from Squarespace to Wordpress. Keep your blogrolls and bookmarks where they are, as they won’t change. Post URLs, of course, will be changed, and I’m not keeping all the posts from the Squarespace incarnation of “Refuge.”
I’m keeping this RSS feed on my server, with the same URL, but I’m not updating it. The new RSS feeds are as follows:
RSS 2.0 for journal entries: http://www.litterarius.com/?feed=rss2
RSS 2.0 for comments: http://www.litterarius.com/?feed=comments-rss2
If those links don’t work, then I’m transitioning between sites. Just give it a half day before switching feeds.
Thanks! See you at the new and improved “Refuge”!
